Strands began as a hedge fund. We were successfully executing complicated trades using smart contracts, tokens, and the on/off-chain rails that would've traditionally taken $100M+ dollar infrastructure and large teams of traders.
As we built the fund, investor capital was far more interested in the technology than the fund itself. "How are these trades even possible without $100M+ in resources?" The market was telling us, plainly, what it wanted: not another fund, but the infrastructure underneath it.
Strands was born from that demand. The same infrastructure that gave our fund the significant advantages on the returns and trades that were possible, is now the platform. One company, one stack, one API across every asset and every venue.
